Meet Dr. Paul Hilfer
Dr. Paul Hilfer was born and raised in International Falls, Minnesota and completed his bachelor’s degree at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. His first USAF assignment was to attend the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Hilfer completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. Following assignments with the USAF in Illinois, Korea, and Germany, Dr. Hilfer completed his endodontic training at LSU/Keesler Medical Center.
As a board certified endodontist, Dr. Hilfer served as Chief of Endodontics at Aviano Air Force Base in Italy and Endodontic Department Chair at one of the Air Force’s largest AEGD training programs in Nebraska. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Hilfer has multiple publications in the Journal of Endodontics, and has lectured at local, national, and international endodontic and dental meetings.
Dr. Hilfer embraces all Minnesota has to offer. He is proud to call Mankato home. He enjoys spending summers on the lakes with his wife, Julia, and two daughters, Vivian and Clara, as well as his winters watching and playing hockey.
